It was our first time at Tubac Jack's and it won't be our last visit! Hailee took great care of us in the bar area and her service was prompt and perfect. Tubac's has a very rustic feeling and it's wonderful! There's just something very comfortable about the ambiance of the rooms and the decor. We had a few cold beers and some of the nachos and a pulled pork sandwich and that couldn't have been better! I knew that we'll be back here again down the road!!! :)
THE PORK!!! THE FRIES!!! i can't say enough good stuff about this place - especially in the pork and fries department, i mean just holy cow! they have this one appetizer that's like pork and fries with some chili sauce, it's seriously the best fries i have ever had!!! the burger's good, a little dry even though i ordered it medium rare - BUT the best way to counteract that was by putting this chipotle ranch on it! here's another superlative: probably the best condiment i've ever had! i could get a gallon of that and just chug it. the service is great, too!! it was a super hot day and the waitress brought us styrofoam cups so we could return to the restaurant after walking around and get free refills!! so thoughtful!!
Beautiful inside! Comfy patio. Smoking only outside. The meals were great. I lived the burger, asked for medium and was cooked perfect. Pork burrito, a little dry. Needs more juices. Chicken quesadilla, full of flavor, shrimp tacos come on corn tortilla
This place has really turned it around. Used to be my go-to almost 20 years ago. Bacon wrapped shrimp, baseball filet mignon, amazing shrimp penne.... then the menu changed and for a long while it seemed like was going to hell. This latest reboot finds me reinterested and the latest rotation of staff is very good so far. The ribs are amazing as always, the nachos are delicious get the pulled pork. Nachos! Go half n half with green Chile in the side so they don't get too soggy! The margs are on point, 5 during happy hour! Keep it up! This place is my new go-to now that stables bar doesn't serve nachos anymore! The nachos and margaritas are dialed in! My new weekend place to stop! Keep it up!
Although we were a group of 8 and not in a hurry, service was very slow (45 minutes since ordering). But that could have been due to 3 people ordering the ribs. Otherwise, staff was pleasant when serving us, and we had no complaints about the food. Everyone's meal was very good and flavorful.
We arrived just before the live band started playing. It got very busy and Zoe behind the bar was shorthanded and unbelievably busy. She did a great job! We had to wait a while to get the bill but just enjoyed our time there. Amazing margaritas, best onion rings ever, amazing pulled pork prepared on site. Highly recommend checking them out!!
Always enjoy Tubac Jack's. Everything is delicious, the service is always good and I love the atmosphere both inside and outside. WARNING: big portions. Tonight, I decided to have dessert for dinner, best decision that I made today. Best deep-fried ice cream that I have ever had.
Great place and server! Outdoor patio was closed, food was good. The pulled pork tacos had lots of meat but the tortillas got soggy from the pics de gallo .
